Guest guest
It sounds to me like most of you simply take your fave recipe and omit the meat or have found a meat subsitute to use. This is what I'm trying to do just to get started, since frankly, I'm scared of Tofu. I don't know why, other than the fact that I've never had it and never cooked with it before. I'm reading a lot of good things here about the MorningStar Farms " meat " products and that really helps my confidence in going vegetarian. So are there other " meat " products out there that would fool my carnivore family when they visit? My family has an old Italian meat sauce recipe we use every holiday for the special dinner, however it includes about 6 pounds of hot sausage and stew meat, what are some good substitutions for those? TIA, Liz _______________
