Guest guest Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 Mexican Snack Squares ============================ 2 - 8 oz. cans of Crescent Dinner Rolls - 16 oz. can of refried beans 1 cup of sour cream 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning mix 6 oz. of shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 cup of chopped green onion 1/2 cup of chopped green bell pepper 1 cup of chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup of sliced ripe olives Salsa Heat oven to 375 degrees. Unroll the crescent dough into 4 long rectangles. Place cross wise in ungreased 15 X 10 x 1 inch pan; press over the bottom and up the sides to form a crust. Firmly press perforations together to seal. Bake at 375 degrees for 14 to 19 minutes or until golden brown and allow to cool completely. Spread the refried beans over the crust to within about 1/2 inch of the edges. In a small bowl, combine sour cream and taco seasoning and mix well. Spread sour cream mixture over the refried beans. Sprinkle with shredded cheese, onions, peppers, tomatoes and olives. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve with salsa.
