I just wondered whether all goat cheese tastes the same or if there is a

difference in quality/taste of different brands? I would really like to like

it. I had it once and didn't like it at all. Thanks. Kathy Also, do

vegetarians eat all kinds of cheese or just certain ones? Vegans don't eat

cheese at all, right???

Welcome to the group, Kathy.

Much like cow cheeses, goat cheeses very based on where they were made and the

maker of the cheese. In my experience, goat cheese is more likely to have

herbs or similar flavorings added to it. Textures vary a little, too. Some

vegetarians eat cheese. Others only eat cheese without rennet in it (rennet

is an enzyme made from cow stomachs). Vegans don't eat anything animal

related.

Hope my definitions aren't dated!

peace and blessings,

ben
