Re:Question about chick peas

Chick peas that need taste...how about garlic? how about celery salt? or

celery that has been dried or maybe a little tahani in with the chick peas?

They are really good when seasoned. Try some hummous or hummus if you live

anywhere near some mid-easterners. Or, I can send you a real recipe if you

want.

Becky,

Tahini is a mid=eastern concoction...it isn't liquid, it isn't solid, it comes

in a " jar " like peanut butter comes in a jar. You add it to chickpeas to make

hummus along with some lemon juice. I promise I will write myself a note and

post some recipes tomorrow. I like some mid-eastern food and then there is

other that I do not like because it is dry. We have many restaurants around

Detroit since we have the largest mid-east population of anywhere in the world

except the mid-east. One of our favorite dishes is " fried cauliflower " which

then has tahini poured over top of it and you eat it with some extra tahini and

it is just yummy. I will get the recipe tomorrow.
