As long as the skin is intact, they should be fine Sharon. I keep

mine for months sometimes until they change color like yours & have

never had an acorn squash go bad yet (knock wood). The little sugar

pumpkins are another thing and that reminds me I still have one and I

loved that pumpkin & black bean soup someone posted last fall...

 

But the only way to really tell is to whack that baby open :)
