Guest guest
Apple Dip 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1 tablespoon mayonnaise 1 7 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained 1 cup chopped dates 1/2 cup chopped pecans 6 tart red, green and yellow apples, 2 of each color, or all one color 2 cups water, with 1 tablespoon fruit protector added Soften the cream cheese and add the mayonnaise. Mix well. Add the drained pineapple, chopped dates and chopped pecans. Fold together well. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. It is pretty to put it in a dish in the center of a large round serving tray. To prepare the apples cut the apples in quarters, remove core, and cut each quarter into 2 pieces. As you do this, immediately add the apple slices to the water and fruit protector mixture. Stir, then gently lift fruit out of the solution and put in a strainer to drain, and then into a bowl. When all fruit is prepared, set the dip in the center of the serving tray. Arrange the apple pieces around the bowl, alternating the colors if using more than one color of apples. ______________________________\ ____ Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail beta. http://new.mail.
