Guest guest
Welcome to the group. I don't want you to have the impression this is a diet group. We are not a weightloss group, vegetarians have to count calories just like the meat eaters do. You are on a healthy path becoming a vegetarian and we have countless recipes in our files. Some are low calorie and some have plenty of calories. There are vegan recipes as well. I think a good book for you would be: " The Complete Idiot's Guide to being vegetarian " (I know what a name, huh?) The second edition has a lot of very helpful information and it has tips on how to lower cholesterol, budget tips, how to find foods when dining out. Enjoy yourself with us.
