Guest guest
From my own personal experience, I would say you have to stay focused at the beginning. In March, 1981, I was so repulsed by the fat flying off hamburg I was frying, and taking major note of the fact it had once been a living breathing creature, I gave it to my dog and decided that was the end of eating flesh for me. And it was - but I found in the very early days that habits would overtake my mind - one evening while babysitting for a friend, digging in the fridge for a snack, I hauled out the cold ham without even thinking - before I got the sandwich made it registered, " hey, I'm not eating meat anymore " - now, it is so much part of me that I don't even think about it. (I do find myself increasingly checking labels - animal parts are hidden in everything - even commercial yoghurt isn't clean!) I have read a bit but need people to let me know how they started etc. I need all the help and advise that you can give to me also what vitamins would be good for me. Looking forward to a meat free life... JJ
