Guest guest
There are male and female eggplants. Males have lots of seed and female have very little seeds, which for someone with divertitulitis is very important. I love the crunch of the seeds. I always wondered why some had lots of seeds while others reg. eggplants had few. I heard this way to know the difference on a cooking show and I've used that ever since to buy the more seeded ones. It works I promise. On regular eggplants, the males have a tan line on the bottom, the females have a round irregular tan mark on the bottom.
