This is a favorite of my boss

 

Dalmatian Bars

 

4 squares, 1 ounce each unsweetened chocolate

3/4 cup unsalted butter

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 3/4 cups sugar

4 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 jar, 3 1/2 ounces macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped

1 1/2 cups mini white chocolate chips

 

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 13 x 9 x 2-inch

baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter in top of a

double boiler over simmering water, stirring until

smooth.

Mix together flour, baking powder and salt in a small

bowl.

Beat sugar, eggs and chocolate mixture in a

medium-size bowl. Mix in vanilla, then flour mixture

until combined. Stir in nuts and half of white

chocolate chips. Spread evenly in prepared pan.

Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.

Bake in 350 degree oven 20 to 25 minutes or until firm

and chocolate chips are lightly colored. Cool in pan.

Cut into bars.

Makes 2 dozen bars.
