Pakistani/Indian vegetarian recipes... Marcia mexican candy

That isn't a cone of brown coarse sugar you see in the

Mexican markets. It's a candy called Panocha. It's

brown sugar cooked with vanilla, butter, cream or milk

and it's boiled down and formed into a cone shape.

I wouldn't use it as a sub. not sure it would work.

No, that's not what I'm thinking of, although I have used the Panocha in

brownies and cookies before.

 

This cone or stick, I'm thinking of only gave cane sugar as an ingredient,

Although I may have seen it in our Indian market and not the Mexican one
