Jim, Yucatan beans in crockpot

I was hesitant, but since I really wanted to try this and I don't

have a pressure cooker (yet),I figured I would go for it and they

really turned out great...not hard, not mushy. I soaked the beans

overnight, rinsed and then covered them with water and boiled them for

about 25 minutes, then into the crockpot on high for 2 hours and on

low for 6. Oh, just remembered, I also used vegetable stock for the

liquid. Hope you like them as much as I did.
