Guest guest Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 This is a slightly modified recipe I found online: Curried Split Pea and Rice Soup Recipe Ingredients: 2 cups dried split green peas, rinsed & sorted 6 cups veggie broth, (veggie bouillion mixed with water okay too) 1 large onion 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed 2 large carrots, peeled and diced salt & pepper 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon curry powder 1 cup cooked brown rice Directions: Place all ingredients (except cooked rice) in crockpot and cook on high for approximately 4 hours & low for an addition 1 to 1 1/2 hours (depending on consistency of soup).
