Guest guest
Hi GB, Other than shaping the curds into a block, do you have to do anything to them to make them into panir? And if I wanted to add herbs when would I add them? Can I add roasted garlic without ruining the texture? I love palak panir Peace, Diane , " Guru K " <greatyoga wrote: > > Steph, > > I would try something else. Make walnut milk or almond milk. > However, I would first make split milk. Guest guest
Diane I have never added herbs or garlic to panir. I would put the curds in a cake pan and mix in the herbs and/or garlic. I cannot see it hurting the texture. That's a good idea. There are also Indian desserts that can be made from panir. Burfee is one. I have never made it. I am partial to Western desserts. A lot of the Indian desserts are deep fried and loaded with sugar. Burfee is one of the better ones in my opinion.
