Guest guest
A few days ago, someone mentioned what the best sources of water are. Here is part of a post from another group on the sources. I think it is a pretty good summary by Rusty Springs. GB Which drinking water is best? *Which drinking water is most beneficial for human health?* I approach health from a naturalistic/wholistic point of view combined a background in modern science. Humans have been on earth for hundreds of thousands of years. It's only been within the last 10,000 years or so that cooking has entered the diet. This seems not nearly enough time to biologically adapt to cooked food as far as extracting optimal nutrition or being able to remove the toxins entering the system, via such food, in an efficient manner without an inadequate loss of energy in the process. Coming from this standpoint, ingesting more recent introductions in the human diet, such as soda, chips, and candy, seems even more preposterous. The improvements in health from switching from a cooked/processed food diet to a raw diet can be read about all over the place and experienced directly. With all that as a background, what is the healthiest drinking water for humans? Water that our ancestors have biologically adapted to is water from natural sources such as springs and unpolluted rivers and lakes. This water that has matured to a certain extent with plenty of oxygen and minerals, and microorganisms, and has been labeled " Living Water " by some. Living water also implies subtle energies such as abundant prana or chi as Chinese Traditional medicine has documented with acupuncture and other healing modalities. " Dead water " can imply beneficial holographic information is removed or distorted in some way by processing the water. Dr Masaru Emoto's research in this area is rather fascinating is summarized in the book " Messages of Water " . http://www.hado.net/water_crystals.html Living Water can also imply that the water is structured and energized for optimal absorption and use. Dr. Patrick Flanagan's research in this area is outstanding; http://www.phisciences.com/about_dr_flanagan.html Other resources: http://www.vibrantvitalwater.com/main_vitalwater.htm Reverse osmosis and distillation water (labeled " Dead Water " by some ) remove impurities but also distort information, structuring, and subtle energy patterns at the same time removing beneficial cofactors such as minerals and oxygen, throwing the baby out with the bathwater. We humans have adapted to drinking water with plenty of minerals and oxygen, optimal structuring, and " life force " not distorted or removed. If you do not believe in evolution and long period of use/adaptation, then you can replace it with what foods and water where intended for Adam and Eve to consume, and you reach the same conclusions. What will the human system do, over a period of time with consuming unnatural distilled and RO water that is deplete of our biological adaptation components? I doubt there are any controlled double blind studies on humans, and I personally do not wish to experiment on myself as a guinea pig. If totally natural water cannot be an option, then some form of enhancement and/or filtering will want to be examined in order to bring the water as close as possible to optimal conditions. There are some filters on the market worthy of note such as water ionizers where the antioxidant properties of the water are increased by ionization with platinum coated titanium electrodes. There are also some pretty elaborate filtration systems such as found at http://www.miraculewater.com/products.htm A lot of water enhancing, re-energizing, revitalizing, rejuvenating, filtering, processing, systems have not been tested to show effectiveness, so be cautious and discriminating. 5. Artesian well water (usually free of contaminants) 6. Filtered and ionized tap water 7. Natural Spring Water (make sure it is tested for contaminants) 8. Other Well water (make sure it is tested for contaminants) 25. Re-mineralized and Ionized Reverse Osmosis water 30. Re-mineralized and Ionized Distilled Water 36. Filtered tap water 40. Carbon filtered, re-mineralized RO water 50. Re-mineralized Distilled Water 85. Reverse Osmosis water (RO water) 99. Distilled water
