Guest guest
Hello All.... Thanks to everyone re the responses to my query... Everything makes a lot more sense now! I didn't get the 6 pts thing - I thought it was pints and I couldn't understand how you could measure 6 pints of lasagne! ounces I understand! We also have weight watchers here in the UK...so I get the concept of the whole points system.. I can't remember if I have ever introduced myself to the group..though I have been a member for a while! Anyway, my name is Rebecca and I'm also a fellow Edinburgh member of the group. I've been a vegetarian all my life (I think I've eaten meat maybe once in my life). I'm not too strict a veggie..I avoid meat products wherever I can but don't shreak in dismay if I accidentally eat a sweet with gelatine or whatever. I also eat fish now - occasionally - this is du to the fact that I gradually developed an interest to see what it tasted like so I started easting it so I could find out. I'm also happy to eat fish because I've been fishing and killed fish and prawns and everything I eat. At present I doubt I'll start eating meat ever simply because I have no desire to eat it. I just don't care and the smell of bacon roasting chicken etc actually makes me feel sick! Sorry that was quite long winded... I don't know if you have Weight Watchers in Scotland, but they are BIG here in the States and become very big if one is BIG. Every dishj is rated on points and I don't know how many you get for the day but they count everything. So, make it and enjoy. It sounds wonderful.
