Guest guest
What is the real story on nutrient content of dried fruit? When you read the label on a package of raisins or dried cranberries, it almost doesn't seem worth eating them because of lack of vitamin content, but I know that eating fresh cranberries or grapes is a positive in fighting cancer, heart disease, and so forth. Can consumption of dried fruit in moderation be " counted " toward the daily 9 or so servings of fruits and veggies recommended for good health? I know some dried fruits have nasty preservatives and added sugar, but what about the pure stuff? thanks, melissa
