Guest guest
Today I finally had the energy to make Erin's split pea and sweet potato soup which he blogged on (see message below). I made a few alterations - I used smoked paprika instead of liquid smoke, added extra crushed garlic as I didn't have any garlic powder and used extra Herbes de Provence as I didn't have any thyme. I really liked this soup although I think next time I would add cilantro in place of the Herbes de Provence. I served it with naan bread as my favourite supermarket is now selling vegan naan - yay! Thanks for posting the recipe, Erin. Guest guest
I was just filing the recipe away and I realised that it didn't call for thyme so perhaps I just added too many herbes de Provence.
