In response to the question as to whether the RH factor has anything to do with

this the answer is without a doubt " no " . My Mother was the first woman

identified on the entire Gulf of Mexice during WWII with RH Negative and type O

blood. I suppose I must insist that you insert the word having just given birth

to a baby who did not live because she was RH Negative. She did a lot on

donations to other women who were in her category to no avail. At the time they

had not identified the Universal Donor and the Universal Receivor types of

blood. Hope this helps. this is a blood chemistry question and not easily

answered.
