Guest guest
Sadly our Hogmanay was a complete washout with driving rain and gale force winds so the huge street party was cancelled. Hogmanay is huge here. Christmas is gaining in popularity, but within living memory the ungodly Scots worked all through Christmas and got holidays at New Year instead. That is why we still have 2 days public holiday on 1st and 2nd January, unlike the English who will be back to work tomorrow. Hope your trip to the US comes off - you will have lots of people to visit! Christie , wee wrote: > > Hello Christie, > > Aww!! Guest guest
Yes, it was on the late night news but this was long after I emailed you, ha, lol. I am still recovering from all those late nights. If I had a choice(s), I would like to see Florida, Chicago, Boston and California. Not in any order and not in one visit as it will be just too much. I am praying that it will come off this year Best Wishes, Wee On 1 Jan 2007 at 23:02, christie_0131 wrote: > Sadly our Hogmanay was a complete washout with driving rain and gale > force winds so the huge street party was cancelled.
