Sandwich maker recipes

Happy Holidays everyone!! I just recieved a cuisinart sandwich grill

and it didnt come with very many ideas. I wanted to know if anyone has

one and would mind sharing some recipes for it. I am afraid it will

just collect dust..lol Also I have to give a great big thanks to the

person who recommended Quorn for Christmas dinner everyone loved it

even our 5 year old who I have to read all the ingredients to to prove

food is animal free. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to find such a

wonderful product.

I am not a big sandwich eater but this is my favorite. I just looked

and there are lots of sandwiches in the files.

Reuben Sandwich

 

Rye bread slices

Swiss cheese or vegan cheese

Olive oil

Tomato slices

Sauerkraut, drained

chopped cilantro or cilantro oil

1/2 tsp. ground caraway seeds

Brown Mustard, " Country style "

 

Place cheese between 2 slices of rye, grill both sides of sandwich

until light brown. Put rest of condiments over cheese. Be sure to

have this on a plate since it is messy.

To really make this " right " try adding grilled tempeh

and slather it with some dark mustard before topping

with the sauerkraut and the rest of the ingredients.
