Set aside popped corn and prepare the following candy recipe. 1 cup white Kayro syrup 1 cube butter or margarin 1 cup sugar Bring syrup, butter and sugar to boil, reduce heat but continue medium boil until mixture reaches a *soft ball stage. If you prefer a less chewy coating cook until *hard ball stage. Slowly drizzle mixture over popcorn and when cool enough to handle form into balls. * Just in case some of you are not familiar with soft and hard ball stage Drop a small amount of boiling candy into a cup of cold water and if the candy 'sets up'/sticks together to form a soft or hard ball, it is ready.
