Guest guest
Ok, I have to share this with you all.... When I was younger....I lived in NC, and I had at this point 1 cat, Geisha. An adorable black cat. My father insisted on sending me mail certified. I took the cat to work with me on the weekends, which really PO'ed the president of the company. She insisted on going to his office, you know how cats go to the ones that avoid their eyes....well Maurice was a master at avoiding Geisha's eyes.He would intercom me....AMY come get this CAT. I often left work on Saturdays to go to my aunts house (devoted cat lover) for the weekend. One day I had an envelope to pick up from him (my dad that is), and since I often took the cat to work with me on Saturdays she was in her kitty carrier. I waited in line....her little paw was poking out through the holes in the carrier. the mail person was shooting me alarmed looks. I got to the window and gave him my pickup ticket. He looked so relieved and said 'I was afraid you were going to want to ship your cat.' to which I replied 'no, but it is 105 degrees outside and I couldn't very well leave her in the car, could I?' He was nice to me every time I came back. AmyF (or AmyU if you talk to Donna....snicker)
