For those of us watching our weight or need to take it off after the

holidays...

 

Apple Cake

 

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 c. applesauce

4 cups sliced apples

1 cup sugar

2 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2 t. cinnamon

 

Preheat oven to 300

wash and core apples.

mix together eggs, vanilla, and applesauce

In another bowl mix apples, sugar, flour, baking soad and cinnamon

add wet to dry then pour in 9 x 12 pan

Bake 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean

 

Serves 12

NOw this sounds delish. Take it off after the

holiday? Nah, it's behind me so someone else can look

at it, let's enjoy our food..LOL
