Chupa @@@@@ EatingWell Strawberry-Orange Compote with Cardamom Syrup 1 pint strawberries, sliced 4 oranges, peeled and sliced 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1/3 cup water 2 cardamom pods, crushed Place fruit in a serving bowl. Heat sugar, water and cardamom pods until the sugar has dissolved. Pour over the fruit. Yield: 4 servings Active Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes Ease of preparation: Easy NUTRITION INFORMATION: Per serving: 105 calories; 0 g fat (0 g sat, 1 g mono); 0 mg cholesterol; 27 g carbohydrate; 1 g protein; 2 g fiber; 1 mg sodium; 169 mg potassium.
