This is what I understand...hemp is harvested from the fiberous stalky stems

(grown to a certain height) of the cannabis plant, before allowed to mature,

flower and seed, which then becomes marijuana...all the potency goes to the top

at maturity....:-). True?

Hemp is not marijuana. Although both hemp and marijuana are

categorized as Cannabis Sativa, marijuana has an average potency of 5-15%

THC (the chemical substance which gives marijuana its psychoactive

properties) whereas hemp has less than 0.3%THC. At this concentration, hemp

has no psychoactive properties.

Here is another great article.

Hemp is so misunderstood. It's actually a cousin of

the marijuana plant, hemp is nonpsychoactive.

The hemp nut seeds, hemp oil and butter are about one

of the healthiest things you can consume. I have 2

fantastic cookbooks on hemp.

The Hemp Cookbook by Todd Dalotto and The HempNut

Health and Cookbook by Richard Rose.

I eat hemp nut seeds daily.
