Pineapple skins Steph

When I lived in central america, the skins of a whole pineapple were

boiled in water. About 1/4 cup of rice was added when cold, and after

boiling a while (maybe 2 hours) and allowing it to cool, the whole

mess was strained and sugar was added. Delicious, try it! ;-) It

was called 'chicha de arroz con pinya' (it would maybe be 'agua de

arroz con pinya' in Mexico)

I have to try this, but with brown rice syrup....
