Guest guest
When I lived in central america, the skins of a whole pineapple were boiled in water. About 1/4 cup of rice was added when cold, and after boiling a while (maybe 2 hours) and allowing it to cool, the whole mess was strained and sugar was added. Delicious, try it! ;-) It was called 'chicha de arroz con pinya' (it would maybe be 'agua de arroz con pinya' in Mexico) , Steph <mrswalp29 wrote: > > I am not going to juice the pinapple again I dont think that my juicer is powerful enough I almost burned out my motor..lol I think I will try out the drink someone recommended that looks like a better way to use up the skins. > Steph > > >
