SWEDISH HONEY COOKIES

 

1/3 c. butter

1/3 c. raw sugar

1 egg

2/3 c. honey

1 tsp. lemon flavoring

1 3/4 c. unbleached white flour

1 tsp. soda

1 tsp. sea salt

 

Mix butter, sugar, egg, honey, and flavoring thoroughly. Stir together sifted

flour,

soda, and salt; blend in liquid mixture. Knead into dough and chill.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough out 1/4-inch thick; cut into desired

shapes.

Place 1-inch apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes. When cool,

ice and decorate as desired.
