I am trying to add more veggies and things to our diet around here. I am not

sure if I am succeeding with anyone but my daughter. Here are the websites

that I found these at:

I'm lucky, my girls eat everything. Brussel sprouts are a big hit. I bought

some grape leaves to stuff this weekend and DD was all bummed out I didn't do

it yesterday when she found the jar of grape leaves. They both love

California roll. Sanna took rice and Noori to school in her lunch yesterday.

She also

takes chopsticks, I think she likes to lord it over the other kids that she

knows how to use them.

Squash soup and acorn squash baked are a big favorite too. Some homemade

bread or a nice fresh loaf go well together. Veggie lasagne, lentil stew, there

is loads in the recipe folders. Maybe if they help you shop for it? (depending

on the age, it works for my 4 yr old and 11 year old) good luck! AmyF

AmyF, Another thing I have done is see if there is something to sprinkle on

various veggies that complement their taste...like carrots do well with orange

juice or my mother would put just a sprinkle of nutmeg on them after the

butter/oleo and brussel sprouts do well with parmesan cheese sprinkled over

them, then you don't have to add salt or pepper. This is how I sold them to my

children years ago. In the front of cook books there are sometimes list of

vweges with their " enhancers: " " listed.

When my kids were little they had veggies and dip with every lunch and

dinner. and usually some kind of fruit. I was doing this even before I was

vegetarian. They ate raw carrots, celery, cucumber broccoli, cauliflower. It

wasn't great variety of veggies but they did eat them everyday.
