Guest guest
A friend emailed this to me, I made it last month. It was wonderful and I'll make again. Vodka Pasta Sauce 1 chopped onion 2 chopped celery stalks 3 Tablespoons minced garlic 1/4 cup olive oil 3/4 cup Vodka 1 can(28 ounce) crushed tomatoes 1/4 teaspoon oregano 2 Tablespoons chopped parsley 1/4 teaspoon crushed rosemary 1 Tablespoon basil 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 cup half-and-half cream In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook onion, celery, and garlic in oil; stir until soft. Add vodka. Simmer until almost all liquid is gone. Add tomatoes, cayenne, and herbs. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in half and half, and heat for 3 minutes. Serve sauce over your favorite pasta. ______________________________\ ____ Have a burning question?
