Guest guest
Hi Thia Douglas has already enlightened you on crumbles - my favourites are rhubarb or gooseberry but I made a lovely nectarine and apricot crumble back in the summer. I was excited today to have discovered vegan custard which I am looking forward to trying. The books I have are Vegan Feasts by Rose Elliot, Easy Vegan Cooking by Leah Leneman and a book called Green Harvest Favourite Vegan Recipes which has no ISBN number - a friend brought it back from Cyprus where I sponsor a cat in a sanctuary run by British ex-pats and it is a book produced to raise money for animal sanctuaries. Mostly I cook bean and lentil stews and casseroles served with potatoes or grains and green vegetables - fairly simple food. Christie , " Thia ....
