Guest guest
Only having had it a few days, I'm not sure, Thia. It has quite a few recipes which include seitan, TVP and tempeh, none of which I eat because they are too " meaty " for me. I expect I could sub tofu for that if necessary, but I only eat tofu rarely. I'm more of an early 70s brown rice and lentil/veggie stew kind of vegan. But I think this will be useful for entertaining. The desserts section looks pretty amazing and I could run the risk of becoming an immensely fat vegan. However all that is only based on a quick look through the book, as I haven't yet tried any of the recipes. It does come very highly recommended both here and on the feralvegetarian group. It all depends on your diet and your circumstances - I often eat fairly simple food because I live alone. HTH Christie , " Thia .... " <bipolyf wrote: > > Christie~ I am considering this book! Guest guest
ok, thanks for the info. Does the dessert section lean heavily on tofu? I have noticed most vegan books do, for the desserts. I eat it only rarely, myself, and would like to find sweets that don't use it so much. On 12/5/06, christie_0131 <christie0131 wrote: > > Only having had it a few days, I'm not sure, Thia.
