Meaning - did you fear that it would be harder on the job or just to make friends and be social with others if you ate meat? Or maybe that you just weren't prepared to keep the choice? I know I wasn't vegan (I have been totally vegan for years, just lately "nearly" vegan) until I taught myself how to cook.
