Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the group. My husband and I have been vegetarian for about 18 years and vegan for about 15-16 of that. We have a daughter who is almost 9 and has been vegan all her life. She thinks meat, eggs, cheese and milk are totally disgusting. Anyway, more about me is on my link if ya want to see it. I just wanted to respond to the question concerning people who were veg/vegan then went back to eating meat. I don't know any vegans who did that, but I do know quite a few vegetarians. In my experience, it has to do with why they are veggie in the first place. Those who do it for their own health seem more likely to revert than those who do it for humane reasons. If you aren't appalled by the idea of eating meat, you might still be tempted. In other words, I don't eat a lot of vegan ice cream and chocolate cake because I know its not good for me - but its tempting! However, meat doesnt tempt me at all! -Caroline www.tobogganhill.com/caroline
