When I was 18 I read an article about animal testing in Dear Abby of all places and then sent in for more information. Once I got the information on farm animals I dropped meat overnight. I wasn't a good veg for years though, didn't really know how to cook and just got by I guess, but I remained committed to not eating meat. Then when I was 25 I really got into cooking whole foods and learned how to make things without dairy...it took 6 years to finally get to that point. That was a major point for me...after teaching myself how to cook. We are all individual I guess depending upon one's circumstances. Kristina Look at someone as 40% vegetarian, 60% vegetarian etc., and you will see a progress. Eventually, several may giveup meat. It just doesn't happen in a day. Specially since several of these people have been meat eaters for generations.Vijay
