We've been away for a few days - Glastonbury, then to Devon and home via Avebury. Our B & B in Glastonbury, the Back[ackers, was a bit of a dive, but we had a reasonable vegan fry-up for breakfast - enough to fill us up until the evening. In Devon we stayed at a place called Cuddyford, which was lovely. Clean and comfortable room with showr and kitchenette - loads of fresh flowers and books etc. The breakfasts were delicious - fresh fruit salad, several different types of muesli, cooked breakfast of toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, and toast and spreads to follow. One evening we eat at Veggie Perrins in Plymouth - a vegetarian Indian restaurant. The food was very good, with some vegan options available. The next night we ate at Herbies in Exeter - took us about forty-five minutes to find our way around Exeter - haven't they heard of road name plates? The food was good - we had mushroom, onion, sweetcorn and potato pie with three salads. There were plenty of delicious looking vegan deserts - but alas! I didn't have any room left. While we were in Tavistock we decided to find a cafe for a cup of tea, and then go buy some bananas etc. for lunch. We happened across a cafe - Cafe Liaison and went in and lo and behold it was a veggie cafe with most items being vegan - so we had soup - one lentil and one carrot and onion, which we swapped over half way through, with lovely bread and soya spread. We were also very pleased because they had Rooibosch tea with soya milk, which is what we drink at home. In Avebury we went to the Circle cafe and I had ratatoulle with salads and Colin had a chilli wrap with salads.

Now for the diet!
