I feel sad

I feel sad.

 

For the last 2 1/2 weeks I've been looking after my mother's turtles. I set up a lovely sanctuary in the backyard, half under and tree and half under the sun with plants and flowers around. Everyday I had to take them out and put them in for the night (they were babies).

 

And now they are gone...and I feel sad! I guess I got attached. I am a total animal person...I mean I really love animals. I really feel fullfilled taking care of them especially the most vulnerable of them (neglected or unwanted). *Sigh*
