Now, there are at least four studies published in scientific journals showing that patients can and do adapt to a "strict" diet that dramatically improves their health.

It's interesting how so many omnivorous people think a vegan diet is so strict and depriving...while I find it to be very abundant. If I wanted to I could cook up a new dish every day for months, at least. To me, there is so much choice with all the different veggies and herbs, seeds, nuts, tofu, and other veggie meat products not to mention to vast array of beans and grains and oils.

I think so much of it is how you look at it.

yeah..veganism is extreme

uhuh

while havin someone crack yer ribs apart so you can get a quadruple bypass, and be stuck on *medicines* fer the rest of yer life..thats not extreme..

*rolls eyes*

everyone has a restricted siet of some sort..ya generally don't see ppl lining up to dine on dog sh*t er death angel mushrooms right?

and..look at shows like Fear Factor, where they make em eat bugs and such...and everyone freaks out(me, i feel bad fer the bugs).in other cultures thats a delicacy or part of the normal diet

its all in how you frame the picture...

We found that too. When we were meat eaters we didn't have that much choice, and then once we gave up meat etc. there were so many delicious recipes to choose from - mainly very easy to cook. Admittedly we do have our favourites that are repeated maybe once a fortnight, but with lots of variety mostly. Definitely far from restrictive or boring.
