Guest guest
well..since i reside over on this side of old briney, its only natural i have that sort o bias? no? heh In fairness, I should point out that you are talking a US-stance here. The microwaving is universal, but in the UK the buns are vegan as is most bread on sale here.

Don't get me wrong, I also oppose the majors, but think that any opposition ought to be be based on reality. From my experience, it is only the US and Germany that are fond of putting milk in their bread or rolls. Guest guest
I personally don't gp in MacDonalds, Burger King or any other place like that because of the destruction of the rainforests, besides which I'm not much of a fan of veggie burgers. Most of the white bread bought in bakers shops in UK is not vegan, although I believe the wholemeal is. Only about half of the Tesco bread is vegan (don't forget to check the labels on flour in the supermarkets - some have something like bonemeal added). I'm not sure about pre-packaged bread as I hardly ever buy it - Hovis says on the packet it is vegan. I feel it unlikely that the cheaper ones are.
