Guest guest
Hello, Haven't posted in a while but couldn't help noticing the trend in peoples negative attitudes towards veganism and all the comments about not patronizing bk etc... I for one happen to like the bk veggie burger, I applaude them for putting something on their menu to accomodate vegetarians and vegans alike. I believe this is a huge step in the right direction. If we completely boycot these places, the few menu choices they do have will surely be discontinued. To change the worlds thinking could not possibly happen overnight. Any step however great or small is still a step in the right direction. And besides, if we overwhelmed them with businees by patronizing them ie. killing them with kindness, would this not help them to see the great number of us who believe that all living things are precious. This, to me, makes much more sense. This could prompt them to add even more vegan friendly items on their menu. We must face the fact that these fast food establishments are in business to make money, that includes giving the public what it wants. With the majority of the public being t-rexs, ie meat eaters, we will never see a major chain restaurant go vegan. Yes we will see more choices for vegans with our continued awareness techniques to all non vegans, and more choices for us, means less animal products being used in that restaurant. So lets stop whining about the little things, lets be greatful some people out there are listening and becoming enlightened, and we can trust that more are to follow. everything happens for a reason, whether we can see it clearly or it is clouded with our own selfish views and misconceptions. may peace come to all Nick

Guest guest
Hi Nick I think that the veggie burger places will get more veggie customers in the future anyway. We have just arrived back after a week in the Highlands, and there were no veggie restaurants -two years ago there were four! Jo
