I see your point, here, Fraggle that it may cloud the issue. But I do not agree that ads are the cause of these children not getting adequate nutrition. From my experience in the school system and dealing with parents it is clearly values and culture and education that determine this. The parents simply do not care enough. I, and probably you as well, grew up with the same ads. I see them all the time...yet my parents made different choices.

 

Sorry, I don't buy that advertisments have that much power...really we make a lot of choices in our lives. Actually I think advertisments are a reflection of our choices more than the other way around. I am more into personal repsonsibility and our ability to choose rather than blaming corporations or businesses for the harmful choices we make.

well, obviously someone thinks they work, and work like gangbusters, er else they wouldn't spend all them billions of dollars
