Thanks for the suggestions Jen. I have never been to vegetarian house

or asian rose. I will add those to my list! I was initially going to

the Herbivore on Valencia. I didn't even know about the one on Divis

until about a year after they opened. Now we go to the Divis one.

Seems way less crowded. I will agree that Millenium can be kind of hit

or miss. My experience has been that when I order the " right " thing,

it's really good. As for Roxanne's, it's in Larkspur and it's raw food

and entirely vegan except for the occasional honey. It is a truely

amazing experience. Check out their website: http://www.roxraw.com.

All of the food is organic. In fact, the produce is grown in their own

garden. I've been there three times. I can honestly say the only thing

I've had there that dissapointed me was the caesar salad. Everything

else has been absolutely mouth watering!

ok, so im hardley ever here, and this topic is somewhat old but i HAD

to make a comment...being from San Jose i feel i should represent-

VegetarianHouse- got food poisoning, will NEVER go back. Sorry, but

is true.

ToFooComChay- DA best, especially when your on the run..the

owner " Ben " is so nice and its cheap. You walk in and he knows: you,

all your friends, what you want and will say " hi " to your friends for

you when they stop in for their lunch. $2.00 will get you a

sandwhich, $3.00-$5.00 will get you a full meal...as you can tell i

LOVE the place.

GoodKarma- like ToFooComChay but a little bit more pricey.

thats all i can think of right now, i know theres more so when get my

head on straight i will get you my critique.

In Santa Cruz, i havent been to the rose place but next time im on

that side of the hill, thats where i will be eating.

I usually just head over to Saturn for a burger, fires and a shake.
