Cool.To Jen, had you been to Herbivore before? I actually think they'vegone downhill in the past years. I'm not sure what happened. As soonas I noticed (2-3 years ago), I asked if they'd changed ownership orchefs but they said they hadn't. Anyhow, it's still totally cool to beable to go somewhere and order anything on the menu! Have you been toMillenium? Much pricier, but worth it on special occasions. Same withRoxanne's, my favorite special place to dine in the bay area, on VERYspecial occasions. :)Sienna Ive been going to herbivore for about a year and a half. One time I thought it was disgusting. I had their ravolies which i absloutly love but one time around xmas time it tasted gross. Like they used pumpkin and cinnamon in the ravolies and then with the red sauce. ew. i asked what the difference was the next time i came in and they told me they had two kinds and i asked for the other kind and it was good. I had the lasagne on sunday and it was oh so good. I also love the pesto toast and the chocolate cake (but the one i make is better) so I havent really noticed a difference, except for that one time. do you go to the one on valencia or divisidaro? My boyfriend and i went to millenium on Feb. 27th for our anniversary. Not so good. We had the seitan. the vegetables were so gross. the potatoes were yummy. I didnt think it was worth the money, my boyfriend and i decided we would much rather go to herbivore. we also go to vegetarian house a lot in san jose. very good. if you ever go i recommend the chefs special and the happy krispy rice. soooo goood! so good! also, i am really big on asain rose in santa cruz. they are only open for a a little bit a day. they open at 11am and then close whenever they run out of food. its nuts, they make all the foood in the morning and then close whenever they run out and only make as much as they think they will sell. the owners also own malabar, which i didnt think was nearly as good as asain rose. but asain rose is a cafetaria type deal. all the food is premade and you go in and choose what you want. its about 4.75 for two items and its a huge plate of food. their tsp is really good. you cant beat it! where is roxannes? what kind of food is it? heart, jen.
