Guest guest Posted May 7, 2004 Report Share Posted May 7, 2004 the on-goin torture scandal in iraq, where american soldiers did all sorts of nasty things to prisoners(of course, wot is worse, being tortured in prison, er randomly being shot...seems a losin propostion on any account) has been all over the news here... not QUITE sure why its a scandal, only from the fact that Amnesty international and others were complainin of torture and the like months ago..o one listened then, yet i saw the blurb, and the US govt announced that they were gonna send captives to other places that allow torture..soo, everyone actin outraged seems a bit disingenious to me... but..besides that i find it sorta tellin that the woman givin the thumbs up in some of the pictures, her job when she isn't makin people fondle genitals is....workin at a chicken processin plant....
