Humans animals

I love animals to death (not literally, of course) and do my part to reduce their suffering...but I would never say we are animals. We have an ability to make choices, moral choices and do so much more. This is not an intent to put down animals at all...but animals often have little control over what they do...but we do. For example...can your dog just decide to be vegetarian like us? I just think we are very different and have different roles to play in this life. But despite all this, I think animals are add a lot of interest and love in our lives and are a definite blessing.

 

I think this attitude that "we are all animals" is so foreign to most people they will not be able to relate to us or our cause. I am not sure it is helpful for us or the animals to put it out there. Just my opinion.

As there are a lot of non-human animals that don't eat meat..I would say they are more civilied than the >humans that do eat meat.
