Wow I am impressed! This is a very gourmet and special salad. Where do you find all the very special ingredients? I have a Wild Oats nearby and farmer's markets...but I've never seen "wood violet blossoms", sour grass, burnet leaves and the like.

Have a great Spring!

Kristina

sour grass grows wild all over the place here..its wood sorrel, oxalis grass...

the recipe is from someone in texas, and she can find all that stuff down the street from her house

if you can't find stuff like that yerself, improvise!!!

:)

go to yer local farmers market and look around...

add flowers fer color...marigold petals, nasturtiums....at most of our local farmers markets they sell bags of greens with edible flowers already mixed in...

there are no wild oats around here anymore(there was one, but it changed owners 3 times in the last as many years it seems...and is some weird half empty naural type store now),but the ones i've been to in SoCal and Colorado seem to have a good selection of greens...look around.try something new..heck, as the person workin in that department, they might have some good ideas...

cheers

I shopped at the Wild Oats in Fair Oaks, CA when I was in college. I love

that store!
