Guest guest Posted March 31, 2004 Report Share Posted March 31, 2004 After thinking about this for a bit, I can see the usefullness is saying another person's beliefs are their "truth". Because, indeed, they are the "truth" to that person. It's just that on this list...I think that just expressing your beliefs is contrued as saying "this is the only truth" when it's just expressing what you believe. Also, I think this concept of relativity can often be taken too far where it is clear that both truths cannot be true at the same time.
