Guest guest
gee.. i would have thought a typical english meal heh heh... yesterday, being my bornday(and day two of the clebrations...we are still going strong today, and more planned fer tomorrow..woohoo! 4 days of fun and debauchery...heh heh), went out to lunch at ben and nicks pub.. usually they have a couple vegan options on the daily special, but, alas, was not to be except fer the vegetable soup...whcih i wasn't in the mood fer... so, we just had foccacia from the market hall bakery across the street, washed down with a pint er 4 each....then ordered a spinach salad.... later, a bunch of us went out to sushi down the street from my house ...kyroyo...we use to go their everyweek at one point, but haven't been there fer almost a year i think... anyways...had lotsa yummy sushi..inari, kapamaki, shitake maki, etc... a case of eyes being much bigger then tummy... but, we stayed til it all vanished.. and they brought us lotsa free soju and sake.. wheeeeeeee THEN, went out to a show, and hopped across the street to pyramid brewing(back and forth, back and forth) where was treated to cheeseless pizza(sorta bland there, just crust and maters, they don't make em very good anyways...but..it was free, so can't really complain), and innumerable pints and pitchers.... it all begins again in about an hour muhhahahahahah i think i'm going to explode... heh fraggle .. I ordered sausages and mash in a tomato and onion rich sauce with crispy leeks and garlic baked tomato. Apparently they had run out of leeks, so I ended up with sausages, 1 tablespoon of mash, the sauce, half a cold tomato and one tablespoon of sprouted seeds. This meal cost £8.00! Guest guest
LOL - yeah you would have thought they could produce a decent sausages and mash. It was the lack of veggies that upset me - I could do without the sausages, but not the veggies. Jo gee..i would have thought a typical english mealheh heh...
