Guest guest
Dear fellow vegans: I got the following e-mail from the Christian Vegetarian Association: 1. Leafleting at The Passion of the Christ Numerous CVA members have reported very favorable responses to leafleting outside movie theaters showing this picture. I can add my family to the list. In about 20 minutes, my two boys and I distributed about 200 copies of Honoring God's Creation. Over 2/3 took the booklet, most with a gracious thank-you. Those interested in doing this kind of activism should contact me soon, while the movie is drawing large crowds. --Steve I've recieved the message that Christians have been very open to the message of vegetarianism many times in the last few months. I think vegans should know this and perhaps help out! As compared to my experiences passing out literature to the general public, these Christians are much more polite and open minded. Maybe our attitude of them should change as well. Maybe it's time that vegans be more tolerant and respectful of those who have chosen to have faith not only because it's good to be tolerant but also because they could be at this moment our most receptive audience. They may be our best bet for decreasing the consumption of meat. I recieved their pamplet at Worldfest and found it to be attractive and explains the spiritual benefits of vegetarianism very nicely.
